after i move my UR points to chase freedom from csr, and ive used my CSR’s 300 credit, and want to cancel bc i wont travel until nov 2021, do i get prorated Annual Fee back refunded?

In reply to Raol. hi Raol, Were you able to get back you points? my husband cancelled his card too, but they did not mention about 30 days after the account closed. I called and they said they can not reinstated those points for us.

In reply to Andrew W. I just see my points vanished after few days of closing my card. they were 100,000+ points. I just hope I get those back, they had my dreams for travel in them. They told me on phone I could use the points even after closing BUT they had not mentioned about the 30 days limit.

In reply to Belen. Hi Belen! This should be possible! I’ve heard of reports where people paid the fee for the Sapphire Preferred, upgraded to the Reserve, and received a prorated refund of the annual fee they paid from the Preferred card.

This is very informative. Thanks. What happens if I have a chase preferred card, earned the points but later want to upgrade to chase reserve? Do I pay prorated fee , would they allow it?

Oh no! How many points are we talking about?

I’d reach out to Chase immediately and beg them to somehow recover the points.

And if they say no the first time, try hanging up and calling back.

I forgot to transfer and closed my card in Jan. It was beyond 30 day window and now points are gone on my Chase sapphire card that i had closed. How can i recover them or are they gone forever?
