I have this card and to be honest; it is the absolute worst card I have ever had. They frooze it once for no reason and with no notification. When I called customer service they had no legitimate excuse. Then when Covid19 came upon us they reduced my credit limit by $6000. Keep in mind I have never missed a payment on any debt, mortgage, vehicle loan or credit card throughout my long credit history.
Also to use the points you need to jump through hoops and there web site is frustrating to say the least. So many other better card out there. Pass this one up and keep searching.

In reply to Andrew Wan. Across the board. Totally not worth it. Poor customer service and the free night. What a joke. Customer service tells me 25 k points. I was told 35000 points when I switched from my Marriott premier. Marriott has totally lost my respect.

Can you use the points to redeem as cash back, or does it have to be used toward a Marriott booking?

1. How long does it take for the free night to show up, is it paper mailed?
2. Are there any differences between the older Marriott Rewards Premier Card and the newer Bonvoy Boundless card?

Not worth it- given the way they treat you (or at least me). Don’t expect good customer service or for them to do the right thing if they make a mistake. How one treats customers once those customers have the points helps define the value of those points. I’m totally happy with Hyatt, who always seems to value me as a customer.
